How to Set Up a Discord Verification Bot
Follow these steps and you will be fully set up in under 5 minutes. Choose between the automated wizard or manual setup.
Add One-Tap to Your Server
Click the button below and select your server from the dropdown. Make sure you are logged into Discord as someone with Manage Server (or Administrator) permission on that server, otherwise it will not appear in the list.
Add to DiscordChoose Your Setup Method
Pick whichever is easier for you. Both result in the same configuration.
Open the Dashboard
Go to the One-Tap Dashboard and log in with Discord. Select your server from the list. If the bot has not been set up yet, you will see a Start Setup Wizard banner.
Run the Setup Wizard
The wizard walks you through three steps:
- Verified role: Create a new role or pick an existing one. This is the role One-Tap assigns to users who pass verification.
- Verification channel: Create a new channel or pick an existing one. The verify button will be posted here.
- Channel visibility: Choose which channels verified members can see. The wizard automatically sets the permissions on every channel you select.
Click Run Setup and the wizard will create the role, channel, set all permissions, and post the verification embed. That is it.
